Conducted securely from the comfort of your home, ELAT provides a unique opportunity for test-takers to focus on specific areas for improvement, with the option to retake only the modules needed. The exam features a choice of dialects for the listening section, including American, British, and Australian, and employs a hybrid grading system that combines AI and human assessment to ensure fairness. With the added benefit of paying only for retaken modules and free electronic score reporting to chosen institutions, ELAT is crafted to meet diverse needs and enhance your English proficiency journey.

Here’s a sample syllabus for each section of the ELAT (English Language Assessment Test), with each section lasting 1 hour:

1. Reading (1 hour)

Purpose: Assess comprehension of academic and everyday English texts.

Tasks: Read passages, answer multiple-choice and short-answer questions, focusing on understanding, inference, and interpretation.

2. Writing (1 hour)

Purpose: Test ability to construct clear, coherent, and well-organized essays.

Tasks: Write an essay on a given topic, evaluating grammar, structure, and argumentation.

3. Speaking (1 hour)

Purpose: Evaluate fluency, pronunciation, and clarity in spoken English.

Tasks: Respond to prompts, express opinions, and describe situations in timed responses.

4. Listening (1 hour)

Purpose: Measure ability to understand spoken English in various dialects.

Tasks: Listen to conversations, lectures, and monologues, answering comprehension questions.

5. Fluency Exchange Session (1 hour)

Purpose: Test real-time conversational skills through interaction.

Tasks: Engage in live discussions with others online, demonstrating interactive fluency and coherence.

This structure ensures a comprehensive assessment of key English language skills.

Application Deadline : No deadline. Year round application. The first cycle of exam will begin from July 2025 ( tentative). Applicants are requested to apply as soos as possible to get the reports on time, preferably 3 months prior to the test day. Application fee will be refunded if there is any problem occured from our side.
